About us

I am a Marshalltown native, born and raised in this community. I truly feel we live in the perfect sized city; Marshalltown is large enough to offer the amenities our family needs, while also being “small” enough to have neighbors and community members who genuinely care about our city. My husband, Thomas Thurston, owns and operates his own landscaping business, Thomas Taylor Designs. Thomas and I have two wonderful daughters and a seal point himalayan cat, Banzai.
